Our schedule for our 2nd day in Bohol is the countryside tour which includes the Blood Compact site, Baclayon Church, Bilar Man-Made Forest, Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise, Tarsier & Souvenir Shops.
According to our tour guide Joel, the whole tour will take about 8 hours & 300 kilometers. We left Panglao Islands around 9AM & headed to our first destination.

Our first stop was at the Blood Compact commemorative site, the monument was built to remind us of what happened in 1565 when Spaniard Miguel Lopez de Legaspi & Datu Sikatuna of Bohol, the 2 drank wine with their blood on it, this is the beginning of what they call as Philippine-Spain Friendship.

When I was scouting for a domain name for my personal blog, it was the term “masterbetong” that came to my mind. Then, I decided to use the .net TLD (top level domain) extension since the domain is not intended for commecial (.COM) purposes (at least that’s what I used to know).
After a few months, I realized how valuable a .COM domain is so I checked if the domain is still available, sad to say, it was already registered.
January of this year (2008) a certain Matthew Smith wrote me an e-mail asking if I’m interested in purchasing the domain from him, he asked me to bid for the name. When I checked the link that he provided, the minimum bid was $100. Well, I’m not really interested of acquiring masterbetong.com.

During the past months, the world was hounded by the economic crisis, it started when the United States declared economic recession. It’s like a magic wand waved over the globe, economies of Europe & Asia followed their lead.
We are in a crisis, but for us Filipinos, it seems that we are not much affected by the current crisis. I was at the mall yesterday & it doesn’t look like that there is a crisis.

Last night I had a chance to be with the
seo.ph people at the Pier One at the San Miguel by the Bay of the SM Mall of Asia (MOA). Like my previous experience it was fun & much more a learning experience coming from the gurus of Search Engine Optimization in the land.

Buying a map has proven to be effective whenever you are going to an unfamiliar territory. I got myself a map of Cebu (including Mandaue & Mactan) while waiting for our flight at the Ninoy Aguino International Airport (Terminal 2).
The map lead us to our next destination which is the Battle of Mactan Shrine in Mactan Islands.

One thing that I was looking forward in visiting Cebu is the food, they are well known for having the best Sugba (barbecue or inihaw in Tagalog). I saw a lot of TV shows featuring those mouth watering barbecues & 1 name that stuck on my mind was Larsian.
We went to Larsian in Mandaue City, we were advised by the taxi driver since it was near from the Hotel & SM City Cebu, traffic was also one of the considerations since the traffic in downtown Cebu during dinner time will be heavy, so we scratched the Fuente Osmeña from the plan.

After getting married, me & my wife traveled to Cebu, this is our first trip together as husband & wife. I used my negotiating expertise to book the best tour package possible. The whole trip will cover Cebu & Bohol & believe me, it’s not that expensive considering how great is the accommodation. We were brought to Mactan (Cebu) International Airport via Philippine Airlines flight PR843 last Tuesday (09 December 2006).

Then we were welcomed by the staffs at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino in Lahug, Cebu City.
