Hayaan n’yo munang mag-senti ako. Considering that this is the nth time na wala akong valentine date.
Nakalimutan ko na yata ang feeling ng may date during valentines day. When was the last time nga ba? Ahhh… I remember before I turned 30, matagal na un no!
Anyways, when I was younger, mejo idealistic ako mag-isip. Everything must be in order, lahat dapat may dahilan. The idea of loving instead of just having someone. Pero di naman lahat ng maganda nangyayari, hindi parang fairy tales ang buhay. Hindi happily ever after.
Di pa naman ako pagod sumubok, in fact always ready naman to try new avenues, new love, new relationship. Pero pag dumarami na pala ang birthday mo (tumatanda in short), you are becoming cautious, cautious na hindi masaring ang sugat na dala ng mga nakaraang karanasan mo (shit ang lalim!)
Pero sometimes (wish ko lang) naisip ko na sana parang fairy tale na lang ang buhay, u meet your foe, u meet challenges pero at the end masayang natatapos ang kwento. Not like in real life diba? There are unlimited foes and never ending challenges yet sometimes (or should I say most of the time) di pa rin maganda ang ending.
Hay naku! Pagbigyan n’yo ako today, feeling senti lang ang lolo n’yo.

oh well, ganun talaga! u win some, u lose some. but then again, trial and error lang yan. minsan kakapagod na rin but we really should take risks. who knows, diba? maging mala-fairy tale din ang ending.
hehe mejo hopeless romantic pa rin yata ako ng konti, syet! hahaha!

Ok lang hopeless romantic ka. When we were younger we were idealistic kaya we had the tendency to be rigid with our rules. It was either black or white, no grays. Because of this nawala ibang pagkakataon natin. As we got older we become less rigid pero naging jaded naman tayo because of the harsh realities we faced. Sana lang kahit na nagiging practical tayo we still have hope in our hearts. Habang may buhay, may pag asa diba?

hahaha!!! naalala ko tuloy yun kanta ng YANO na SENTI… tol ang masasabi ko lang mas marami ang babae sa lalaki… at mas maraming maganda ngayon sa younger generation… at least single ka! you have the advantage! hehehe ingat sa pagsesenti baka dumugo yun sugat ng puso mo!!!!

well, we are in the same boat in this aspect. Difference is that I lost the urge to even find one to take the risk for again. So I just sit here and wait. If the chance comes, I am not even sure if I will welcome it or know how to handle it again. It’s been a long time…
at any rate, I wish you, on the other hand the strength to search and seek. And if the chance comes upon your way, don’t give up without a fight, only because those that you fight for are the one that is worth to keep.
