Vantage Point

the team [klasmeyts] took it’s final bow last sunday. we lost by 15 points against kentz. malungkot isipin pero that was our last game for the conference. i know the team did their best pero as the song goes, our best is not good enough.

we started strong, with 7 straight points making it 7-0 up to the 5^th minute of the first quarter. kentz bounced back and lead as much as 16 points at the end of the 2^nd quarter. and that was the story till the end. parang kahit anong tira ang gawin nila pumapasok and kami naman di maka-shoot. lady luck was not on our side, may isang instance na 3 offensive rebound ang nakuha namin pero wala maski na isang follow-up shot ang pumasok. they lead as much as 24 points before the start of the 4^th, but we managed to cut the lead to 10 and end up at 15 points.

despite the lost, nagawa pa rin naming magsalo-salo at magsaya at the same time. nagyaya si kabise sa pansitan to celebrate the camaraderie and plan the next move. if the plan will push through, magbubuo uli kami ng team for the next conference, reloaded na ito. we might drop 2 players and take 3 new players to play with us.

ang saya ng gabi, parang nanalo nga kami, besides the feast-like ambiance [dahil sa dami ng inorder ni jun at kabise], ok ang naging kwentuhan. may konting brainstorming at ang matindi sa lahat, ang pinoy showbiz trivia showdown between kaka & deks. parang lumilindol sa pansitan everytime na tumatawa ang grupo.

pagod, frustration, bruises, sakit ng katawa and other negative things never hindered us to have a good laugh.
