I remember noong nag-aapply ako ng telephone line, nagpunta ako sa Binakayan office ng PLDT, sabi sa akin di na daw nila scope ung lugar namin punta daw ako sa Imus so I went to Imus and un din ang sinabi nila sa akin kasi naman daw Bacoor ang address ko. Pero dahil sa kakulitan ko nakabitan din kami ng telepono. The same thing happens when I applied for cable TV service, sabi ng Home Cable, malayo daw ang connection sa amin, sabi pa “Why don’t you try SCN (Suburban Cable Network), sa Imus po sila mas malapit sa inyo.” Pero ibinalik lang din ako ng SCN sa Home Cable. Now Home cable is saying that it’s better if I would apply sa Home Cable. Duh! Now Home Cable told me that they will charge at least 5K para magkaroon kami ng cable sa bahay, sabi ko wag na lang!

Going back to my point, since wala nga kaming cable, walang choice but to watch local channels. And what the local channels have to offer? Hmmm… Meron ba?

You have to choose between warring networks, religious programs cursing each other, tons of reality TV, Asian Telenovelas and Fantaseryes.

Yeps, that’s all folks, whenever I see the religious leaders trying to belie the others I can’t understand how can still stand in front of their believers.

Hay naku, when will we ever grow up as a nation? Grabe ng kabobohan ang itinuturo ng TV sa atin. It is really an idiot’s box.
