tumitindi ang bangayan sa pagitan ng executive at ng senate. malacañan released eo 464 requiring the president’s approval for senior government, military & police official before appearing in any congressional hearings while the senate opened it’s congressional hearing on the north rail controversy.

don’t get me wrong, i want to re-iterate that eo 464 is a piece of shit. yet i’m pissed by the idea of using the senate floor to expose every controversy just to gain media mileage. tang ina naman o! lokohan na diba? instead of focusing on issues that gravely affects the lives of the common juan dela cruz, everyone in the political scene are working hard to make themselves visible in the public eye through media exposure.

a friend once asked while dining/watching saksi on tv, “ano na nangyari sa imbestigasyon kay mike arroyo? nawala na lang at sukat, natabunan na ng ibang issue.” the question is valid, lagi naman ganyan diba? imbestiga lang pero alang nangyayari. simple lang ang sinagot ko sa kanya, “di naman nila intensyon na ipakulong kahit sinong iniimbestigahan nila, the point here is just to expose ang make the other camp stinks, in that way kahit na mabaho sila, mas babaho ang kabilang kampo.”

ala namang mangyayari jan e, imbestigasyon lang ala namang legislation. exposè dito exposè doon, upakan dito upakan doon yet the ruling class is not shaken, they merely splinter into groups and will rebuild later on [thanks to the mastery the enrile (balimbing) tactics], who are left behind? the common people. the economy remains on a slump, prices are going up and the quality of life is worsening.
