GMA once again displayed what her magic wand can do, JDV was ousted from his precious seat as the Speaker of the House at 1:34AM today. JDV was replaced by Davao City Representative Prospero Nograles, via 174 Aye vote, 36 Nay votes & 16 abstain to declare the position of the Speaker vacant.
The picture is clear, even his partymates abandoned him. For what? I guess you all know the reason why.
The ouster came into picture when JDV’s son, Joey dragged the name of FG Mike Arroyo into the ZTE-NBN broadband deal anomaly.
I’m not a JDV fan, I believe that changes in the lower chamber must be towards the betterment of genuine public service & not based on squabbles or vendetta, Malacañan should stop meddling with the business of the Legislative.
