As promised, this will be the second part of my Wagayway Festival post, this time I’ll be featuring the “Ladies of the Flag”, each of the lovely ladies will represent a symbol in our National Flag, the first of which are the three stars representing the 3 island group of our archipelago, namely Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao.
These ladies were finalist of the recently concluded Mutya ng Imus pageant. Oops! Don’t ask me for the names, I was busy shooting & can’t find time to jot it down.

Now the 8 rays of the sun which represents the first 8 (Pampanga, Laguna, Tarlac, Batangas, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Manila & Cavite) provinces that sought independence from Spain.

And finally, I’d call her the Flag Lady, for the simple reason that she’s wearing a gown that is a replica of the Philippine Flag.

Tomorrow will be the National Flag Day & will end this 5 day festival, this will also mark the start of the Kalayaan Festival.
