Kagabi, pagkatapos kong mag-blog at mag-chat, inabutan kong patapos na ang inuman ng tropa. Like the past months, pagka-kuha ng sweldo, deretso na agad sa bangko para ipadala ang ransom money monthly remittance sa pamilya and then bili ng “saddiqi” (yan po alak namin dito, sabi ng mga underground manufaturer ay permented fruit syrup, sabi ng iba tubig daw ng baterya ang iba naman methanol daw) at hapi-hapi tugeder na.

Last night was different, unlike his usual bloopers & blunders, si Labidads ang topic namin at ahem ako po ang “Dr. Love” (as if may karapatan) nila. Diego met labidabs in one of his “pangangalunya” session sa aming university (coined name sa internet cafe, kaya nga binansagan kaming KLASMEYTS). As he narrates, na-in love sila sa isa’t-isa and the complications started, Diego is very much married while Labidabs is very much single.

Kahit na malayo sila sa isa’t-isa, the distance does not matter, may text messages, may e-mail at may time sila (ang haba nga minsan) to spend together sa YM.

They asked my expert opinion, “Dre, bakit ba natin nagagawa un despite na may asawa na tayo.” Mahirap na tanong diba? Hindi ko alam kung ano ang isasagot dahil first wala naman akong asawa and secondly di ko alam kung ano ang gusto nilang isagot ko, is it a question of enlightenment or justification.

Simple lang ang sagot ko, we consider chatting as “libangan”, we spend 4 Riyals per hour to relieve our boredom (mas ok kung may magpapakita ng maseselang bahagi ng katawan) :), but the danger of it to progress ay di maitatanggi. Someone might give you enough attention or challenge that you want to talk to him/her always, this attention seeking might progress into “love.”

There’s no doubt na mahal nila ang isa’t-isa, Labidabs admits kahit pa nga alam n’yang may asawa na si Diego. And yet they understood the consequences of continuing such a relationship.

Hindi naman unique ang relasyon ni Labidabs at Diego, I’ve seen a lot. Naisip ko lang na swerte pa rin ako, at least if ever mahulog man ang loob ko sa isang ka-chat, walang masyadong complication.
