The trek us lead us to Ongpin St. where the Binondo Church is located, this is my humble depiction of the church’ bell tower.

And of course, the trip is all about street, its people & dwellers, aminin ma natin at hindi, maraming kababayan natin ang dito na nakatira, sa mga parke, lansangan at kung saan man sila abutin ng pagod at antok.

Quiet Please… (1/125″, f5.6 @ iso400)

Trooper treated us with a “Father’s Day” meal package from one of the leading fastfood chain, well, ’twas Father’s Day & 3 out of the 8 attendees admitted that they are fathers.
Trooper kept the untouched food & gave it to the kids “living” in the park, I was touched by Trooper’s act & to the fact that these kids were just a few steps away from the restaurant yet they can’t afford to enjoy the food that is being served there.

Then off our way to Jones Bridge, on the way, I saw this poor guy, the noise & harsh condition of the street does not prevent him from taking a much needed rest.

Eto naman ang nasaksihan ko sa ibabaw ng Jones Bridge, a man proudly wearing his tattoo.

One of the itinerary listed in our photo ops was to visit the “Kisapmata” - Street Photo exhibit at the fence of the National Press Club, these are collection of photos taken by respected & well know press photographers in the Philippines, a must see for photo enthusiasts.

A trip at the National Press Club won’t be complete without a group hug, from left Randy, Rob, Gogo, Miko, Starbucks, Trooper & Me.

The last leg of our half-day trip was at Liwasang Bonifacio (formerly known as Plaza Lawton), here’s Starbucks shooting this poor guy.

Lastly, my depiction of the fountain in front of Manila Central Post Office.

To sum it up, it was tiring, fun & eye-opener experience for me, being my first street photo opportunity, it feels different to just see them lying there & trying to document their situation. This proves that a camera is a powerful tool in telling the truth.

Wow! Very interesting set of photos, Ricky. So, are you ready to get more into photojournalism now? Hehehe.
That was a nice size group you had also. Let’s see how the July 1 turns out. I plan to join it.
Incidentally, I’m intrigued at your use of ISO 400 in a sunny day condition; most I do is 100. I should also try yours.
