demn! andito pa rin ako sa saudi!
my grandoise plan of leaving the kingdom before my birthday didn’t happen. nasabi ko na yan sa nakaraang post ko. i tried to get through the december 21 flight pero all seats taken na. trabaho sana ng personnel namin yun pero since “ako” ang may gustong umuwi, “ako” dapat ang maghanap ng flight! ako! ako! ako na lang palagi!
i got 2 bookings, one is on the 24th via gulf air, it is expected to leave king fahad internation airport at 2200hrs ksa time, will stop at bah (bahrain international airport) for a brief stop over & head towards manila. the expected arrival is at 1330hrs manila time. this sounds good to me but i am on a waiting list! the agent informed me that he will call me if ever my flight is confirmed. i’d say it’s a no.
second flight is on the 3rd of january via qatar airways, it will leave dmm (king fahad international airport) at 1000hrs and will land at doh (doha international airport in qatar) at 1100hrs qatar time (same as ksa time) then off to mnl (ninoy aquino international airport) at 1445 and expected to land at 0430am manila time.
ngayon ang bertdey ko, i’m a proud 37 year old single man. but this is not the gift that i’m expecting, mas magiging masaya sana ang kaarawan ko kung makakasama ko ang pamilya ko. i’ve endured the first 4 years na nagdiwang ako ng kaarawan (isama n’yo na ang pasko at bagong taon) na wala ako sa pilipinas, but the 5th time seems to be the hardest. it can be attributed to my expectations, i was expecting to celebrate it at home.
dapak! all i can do is rant about this dismay! sana si superman na lang ako!

:smile:i’m praying that you can spend christmas with your family, there’s no place like home. last time i spent the holidays was 1989-tapos honasan staged a coup, my parents were so afraid that i’ll be held back, so i left after christmas day. i haven’t spent any holidays in pi since then. i miss the puto bumbong after simbang gabi…don’t worry, you’ll get your vacation…one of the reasons why i left ksa is bec. some of the people do not realize we have families in pi & we wanted to spend our christmas with them, bad enough walang outlet sa ksa, esp. women, @ least with men, you guys could hang out w/o problems, w/us women, punta lang sa souk naka-schedule pa!!! such a hypocrital country-some of our country men/women are so mean to each other, can’t trust anybody. i left before i got sucked into their world. i live here in the us w/my family, still struggling but free to do anything. happy birthday, wish i’m 37, he!he!
