This page opened when I tried to access my site this morning:

I immediately checked my e-mail & got this message from my host:

Your site has been automatically suspended by our system. With this I am now moving your account to a new server to ease up load and for your site to perform better.

I saw that you moved out some subdomains but I noticed that your main domain is what’s eating up much resources. Nevertheless I am putting your account to a new server where there is not much hosted sites yet.

I will inform you once the move is done. I apologize for the short notice as we need to move things for the benefit of everybody.

The action was brought about a series of communication between me & my host, apparently my two (2) sites (http://masterbetong.net & http://pinoyweblisting.com) were hugging all the resources of the entire server thus causing the sluggishness in the response time. It’s not just my site that is being affected but all the sites being hosted in the server.

I took some action to respond on the call of my host, I know that some of my feature in http://pinoyweblisting.com are resource heavy, I removed 2 services i.e. http://directory.pinoyweblisting.com & http://topblog.pinoyweblisting.com to avert the effects on the server. Meanwhile, the host is recommending this:

With this we are suggesting that you upgrade your account to a VPS the soonest to prevent sluggishness or downtime. With a VPS you can add most of your account and have a dedicated service with root access. An entry level vps like VPS Gold would be a good choice.

A VPS Gold account goes somewhere between 1,500 - 2500 a month which I can’t afford right now, I told my host about this & thank God that they are understandable enough to consider migrating my site to a less busy server.

The suspension was brought about the migration, it took them about 4 hours to complete it & my site went online at around 2PM (Philippine time). I’m still wishing to migrate into VPS, this would give me a wider legroom to manage my site. For those people who have been affected by this, I sincerely apologize, my PWL community will be back as soon as I ironed up everything.
