second on the list of sites to be visited is the monastery located uphill on the mountains of san jose in tarlac. on the road, we’ve seen alot of good sites that’s worth capturing.
first stop was the harvest site somewhere in tarlac city. the lead car suddenly stopped & the contingents hurriedly went out of the car & flocked their way to the farmers harvesting their crops (rice), the rest of the piphols followed.

a farmer harvesting his crop (1/3200, f5.3, iso 800, 62mm).

a lady farmer having a cigarette break (1/2500, f5.6, iso 800, 135mm).

the peasants children waking up early to help their parents on the field (1/2000, f5.6, iso 800, 135mm).

second stop was a scene similar to the rice terraces of banaue, as we all know, rice fields are common in the province of tarlac, central luzon (the region where tarlac belongs) i well known of being the rice bastion of the country. i didn’t take much picture on the second stop, it’s to common for me, growing up in the province makes the rice field common to me. instead of capturing the fields, i had a lucky shot on this.

the picture was taken in black & white mode using the green filter effects (1/250, f16, iso 800, 20mm).
third stop, the solitary tree (1/4000, f5, iso 800, 18mm).

the tree is located uphill, a good scene to capture other photos, like this, an infra-red like black & white lanscape (1/3200, f5, iso 800, 35mm).

fourth stop, the corn & rice drying place (1/500, f5.6, iso 100, 75mm).

fifth stop, the corn farmers harvesting the crops.

these farmers don’t own the fields, there were commissioned by the land owner to harvest the fields (1/200, f5.6, iso 100, 66mm).

when we asked them on how much they earn for the job, “eight-fifty ang bayad sa amin per kilo” (1/320, f5.6, iso 100, 120mm).

the corns (although they look delicious) are not for human consumption, these corn will later be delivered to the plants to be processed as hog & livestock feeds (1/640, f5.6, iso 100, 70mm).
sixth stop, the long narrow bridge, again the lead vehicle stopped to capture the beauty of the river beneath the long-single lane bridge.

i thought that using electricity to catch fish is illegal but this guy is having a time of his life doing so (1/400, f5.6, iso 100, 135mm).

and here are some of my fellow piphol having the time of their life catching the scene, at least capturing the scene is legal (1/320, f5, iso 100, 35mm). although we can be charged by delaying the flow of traffic in the area.
last stop, the duck farm (1/640, f5, iso 100, 18mm).

and the bathing carabaos (1/320, f5.6, iso 100, 135mm).

next set will be all about the src monastery.
