today is mother’s day and every weekends. 
i’m not trying to be funny, in fact kung kayo nasa kalagayan ko di kayo matatawa t’wing weekends, while most people spend their weekends hanging around, drinking till they drop, i’m doing other things, i’m doing what my mother [or the mother (not my wife) of my child] used to do for me [yeah, that's why it's called mother's day], and that’s washing & ironing my clothes etc. etc.
yeah, when ur all alone and no one else to cling on, u have to do everything. minsan nga nang makita ako ni diego na nagluluto, biro n’ya sa akin, “naks! independent ka na d’re” sabay tawang nakaka-inis. but it’s never to late to learn things that needed to be done. anybody who yearn for independence must learn every little things that needed to be done.
it’s feels good accomplishing something, no matter how small it might be to others.
