early in the morning scene sa office, i was busy with browsing the blogs when my boss arrives.

boss: viva italia!

deadma lang ako, naisip ko na siguro nanalo ang italy sa world cup.

boss: did you watch the match?
master: no.
boss: why?
master: i washed my clothes.
boss: what? everyone’s dying to see the match & you washed your clothes.
master: if i saw the match then i have to come to work naked. [laughs]
boss: my friend, this event is once in 4 years, some people would sell their houses to be there.
master: [i won't, or should i say i don't have a house to sell]

derecho lang sa litanya ang amo ko, who cares really. di naman ako fan ng football, di ko trip. ang alam ko lang sa larong yun ay sinisipa ang bola at kapag pumasok sa goal ay may iskor. basic knowledge lang talaga, hindi naman tayo “football country”, we are a basketball country except nga siguro sa bacolod (and the rest of the panay island group) kung saan nagmula ang isang world-class footballer sa katauhan ni paulino alcántara.

nagulat din ako na minsan pala ay may isang pinoy (filipino-spanish) pala na naging magaling na football player, thanks to howie.

pero wala pa ring appeal sa akin ang larong yan!
